Our Refund Policy
In this Refund Policy, Cork and Canvas (South Melbourne) Pty Ltd trading as ‘Cork and Canvas’ and any of its related companies may be referred to as ‘Cork and Canvas’, ‘US’, ‘OUR’ or ‘WE’.
Excluding bookings of 8+ people, if you cancel at any time up to 72 hours prior to your session, we will reschedule your seat to a more convenient date or provide you with a refund in the same manner as you made your booking. For bookings of 8+ people, we require no less than 7 days notice prior to your session. Should you need to cancel your booking within 72 hours of the session (or within 7 days for group bookings of 8+ people), a $25 rebooking fee per seat for 3-hr sessions applies and a $20 rebooking fee per seat for 2-hr sessions applies. “No shows” will be charged the full amount without refund.
Cancellation by US:
WE will make every effort to deliver OUR services to you, as promised.
On occasion however, WE may need to cancel a session where insufficient bookings are made. WE will do OUR utmost to provide sufficient notice to you about any session cancellation. In the interest of avoiding a session cancellation, WE may elect to cancel the session at a time which you may consider you received insufficient notice due to your circumstances. WE apologise to you in advance for any inconvenience caused.
Where WE elect to cancel a session, WE will provide you with a credit to the value of your purchase or WE will refund your monies to you.
Method of Payment is Irrelevant:
The terms and conditions of this Refund Policy apply whether you paid in cash, by credit card, debit card, PayPal or with an e-Gift voucher.

Q: What’s it like at Cork and Canvas?
A: It’s a fun, creative and unique night out! Simply bring your favourite bottle of wine or other beverage (excludes Pub Paint Sessions) and enjoy our relaxed and fun environment where our talented artists guide you step-by-step how to paint the session’s featured artwork. Come alone, come with a date, come with friends! Using acrylic paint on a canvas, you’ll be surprised at the masterpiece you create! As we say, Walk in a Skeptic, Leave with a Masterpiece!
Q: How much does a public paint session cost?
A: Sessions held at our South Melbourne location cost $45pp on Tuesday nights, $50pp on Wednesday and Thursday nights and $60pp on Friday and Saturday nights and Sunday afternoons. Automated reduced pricing applies when 4 or more people book together. Prices differ for specialty events, such as Paint Your Pet and Paint Your Mate.
Q: How long are the sessions?
A: Friday and Saturday night sessions and Sunday afternoon sessions run for about 3 hours while our Sunday evening to Thursday evening sessions run for about 2 hours.
Q: What time should I arrive?
A: Our evening sessions start at 7pm and our Sunday afternoon sessions start at 2pm. We recommend arriving 5-10 minutes prior to session start times so you can checkin with our artists, grab your apron and paints, pour your glass of liquid creativity and settle into your paint station.
Q: What should I wear to a session?
A: Wear whatever is comfortable for you. We provide aprons to protect your clothes although we recommend that you wear something that you won’t mind if a little paint splashes on – accidents do happen.
Q: How old do I need to be to attend a session?
A: You must be 18+ to attend a night session. Children aged 8+ are welcome to Sunday day sessions with an accompanying painting adult, no exception. As our sessions are intended to be relaxing for all our patrons, due to the duration of our sessions, children under the age of 8 are not permitted to attend.
Q: Am I allowed to eat while I paint?
A: Yes! Bring along your snacks and nibbles to enjoy while you paint.
Q: Do I have to paint exactly the same thing as the art instructor?
A: No way! We encourage you to unleash your inner artist and put your own creativity into your artwork.
Q: Can I take my painting home with me?
A: Yes! By then end of the session, your masterpiece will be dry for you to take home.
Q: Can I bring along someone who won’t be painting?
A: Unfortunately no. Seats are reserved for painting customers only.

This Terms and Conditions of Service Agreement sets forth the legally binding terms and conditions for your use of the website and any use and/or purchase of goods and services offered by Cork and Canvas (South Melbourne) Pty Ltd trading as ‘Cork and Canvas’ and any of its related companies (hereunder ‘Cork and Canvas’, ‘US’, ‘OUR’ or ‘WE’). By accessing this website you agree to comply with these terms and conditions. You warrant that you have the ability to enter into transactions directly with Cork and Canvas and by making a request through the website you also warrant to US that you are at least 18 years of age.
All content on this website is property owned by US. This includes graphics, logos, images, text and website design. Therefore, any unauthorised use of them is strictly prohibited and could result in criminal or civil penalties.
Pricing of Goods and Services:
All pricing is in Australian dollars and GST applies. WE have the discretion to change prices with or without notice to you. All credit cards, debit cards, PayPal and cash transactions are charged in Australian dollars. All goods and services listed on the website, their information and prices are each subject to change. WE reserve the right to modify, suspend or discontinue the provision and/or sale of any goods or services with or without notice to you.
Delays and Changes to and Cancellation of Sessions:
WE will make every effort to deliver OUR services to you, as promised.
On occasion however, the commencement of a session may be delayed due to circumstances beyond OUR control or unforeseen by US, partly or wholly.
It remains OUR sole discretion to decide whether a session will commence, albeit late, or whether to cancel it altogether. If WE elect to cancel a session, whether it be prior to the schedule starting time or after, WE will notify you as soon as practicably possible. Where WE choose to cancel a session, WE will provide you with a credit to the value of your purchase or WE will refund your monies to you in the same manner is you made your booking. WE reserve OUR right to change the artist hosting any session.
Photography and Videography:
You acknowledge that WE may take photographs and videography of the sessions, which may record images of you at the session. By booking and attending a session, you expressly and impliedly authorise and permit US to use any recordings we make, which may include images of you, for the promotion and advertising of OUR business. You agree that all recordings of any nature shall become OUR property and WE may use the recordings for promotional and advertising purposes for OUR benefit at OUR sole discretion. You also agree that WE may modify the recordings as WE see fit for OUR purpose.
If you do not wish for US to record your image WE ask that you notify US no later than at the starting time of the session.
Promotional and Discount Coupon Codes:
Promotional and discount codes cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer unless otherwise noted by US.
Liability and Indemnity:
In no event shall WE be liable to you or any third party for any loss or profit or any indirect, consequential, exemplary, incidental, special or punitive damages arising from or under, related to or connected with your use of the website or OUR services. Accessing and using the website and goods and services offered by US are at your own discretion and risk. You are solely responsible for any damage to your computer system, mobile device or other electronic device or loss of data resulting therefrom. WE act to the best of OUR ability to ensure that the content of the website, including all information and listings are correct, but it is subject to change at any time and without notice to you. To the extent permitted by law, WE disclaim all liability for any errors, omissions or misleading information. You agree to make your own evaluation of the suitability, accuracy and completeness of any information, advice or other content that is available on the website before you rely upon it. As a condition of use of the website, you agree to indemnify US from and against any and all liability, damage and loss whatsoever that WE incur or suffer as a result of any action, inaction or omission on your part.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, WE disclaim any warranties, assurances or promises, express or implied, regarding the website and any goods and services or facility it provides.
Third Party Goods and Service Providers:
Where goods and/or services are provided to you by a third party at a session (such as the provision of food or drink to you by a bar or restaurant at OUR studio or a session held at a third party venue), you acknowledge and agree to hold US harmless and to indemnify US against any injury, damage or loss you may suffer whatsoever arising from or under, related to or connected with the provision of the third party goods and services to you.
Change to this Terms and Conditions of Service Agreement:
WE reserve the right to change and/or modify all or any part of these terms and conditions at any time without notice to you.
Your Personal Information:
As the user of the website or facility and the purchaser of any of OUR goods and services, you agree and consent that WE may collect your contact information (your name, email, telephone number, date of birth, other contact detail) to complete session bookings and as a means for US to communicate with you from time to time OUR goods and services and related matters.
Please note that WE do not share or use this information with outside parties except to the extent required by law and when we engage third party service providers to provide you with related services that WE offer to you through our website, to conduct quality assurance testing, to provide technical support or to provide specific services to you. These third party service providers are required to not use your personal information other than to provide the services requested by US.
Your Email Address:
WE collect an email address from persons making session bookings, requesting information and who sign up to receive OUR newsletter, promotional and advertising material. The email addresses WE collect are stored in a secure area within the site database and may be used for marketing purposes and developing promotional offers and sale events.
Your Credit Card Information:
OUR website is a secure site and all credit cards are processed by a secure bank approved payment gateway. Your credit card payments are processed securely. WE do not keep your credit card details and they are only passed to the bank for processing a credit card payment.
Photographs and Videography taken of you by US:
By registering and attending a session, you expressly and impliedly authorise and permit US to use any recordings we make, which may contain images of you, for the promotion and advertising of OUR business.
